Repost flags during the week
As in the past, flag sponsors can repost their flags from prior years at the Field for $10. Bring your flag, its ribbon and pole to the Field after noon on opening day, November 9th, or any other open time during the week.

Pickup times for flags
Those who sponsor flags at this year’s Field of Honor may pick them up at the Field on Saturday, the 16th, anytime during open hours at the Field or from 9 am to noon on Sunday, the 17th. Those unclaimed can be picked up at the Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore facility at 27479 Enterprise Circle West in Temecula until November 30.

Rotary Clubs Seek Hero Nominations From Community

The Rotary Clubs of Murrieta and Old Town Temecula invite nominations of “heroes” who will be honored during the 2024 Murrieta Field of Honor, November 9-16. The benchmark that the Rotary Clubs use in selecting heroes who are nominated by the community: A hero is a person (or group) who in the face of danger or adversity or from a position of weakness displays courage or self-sacrifice for the greater good. Heroes will be honored with a special salute during the Field of Honor week, along with being featured in a special Field of Honor magazine and in media postings. Vollbrecht Chalk Walk
Murrieta Rotary is issuing a call for artists to paint patriotic images with chalk at the club’s annual Field of Honor scheduled for Nov. 9th-16th at Town Square Park. Get more info here.
