Giving goals and recognition levels

Murrieta Rotarians are strongly encouraged to support the foundations that make it possible for us to do good.

Murrieta Rotary Foundation

Members are expected to be actively involved in the club’s major fundraiser, the Field of Honor and its Patriots Ball, particularly in generating sponsorships and auction items.

They also are asked to consider a special contribution annually to the club’s Legacy Fund, perhaps recognizing milestones in life such as birthdays (ie. $1 for each year lived) and anniversaries (ie. $1 for each year of marriage) or perhaps leaving a bequest that creates a personal legacy. The principal in this fund remains and only interest in future years may be spent on club programs.

Rotary International Foundation

The club has several goals for support of the RI Foundation and its work, which also aids local programs.

• Gain financial participation by every member every year (hopefully at least $100).
• Average $225 per member in contributions this year (some give more, some do less).
