Vocational Training Scholarships Offered

Vocational Training Scholarships Offered

The Rotary Club of Murrieta, through its foundation, is awarding scholarships to Murrieta residents who have graduated from high school in recent years and are planning to pursue vocational training in various forms. This program is open to Murrieta residents who have graduated from high school in recent years and have now decided to pursue a vocational/technical career that requires more training.

First consideration will be given to applications received by April 3, 2022.
Applications received after that date will be considered if funds remain available.

Eligible are graduates from Murrieta schools, public or private, including home schooled, and Murrieta residents who may have attended schools outside the community. Applicants will be enrolling in full or part-time vocational study.

Scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 will be awarded to those students deemed by Murrieta Rotary to be most deserving. An emphasis will be placed on:

  • clear career plans;
  • service to others during the high school years and since as well as leadership exhibited in these activities;
  • and academic achievement.

Payment of scholarships will be made directly to the schools of choice upon verification of enrollment by the school. It is the student’s responsibility to have this verification sent to Murrieta Rotary.

Adjustments to this program may be made throughout the process if deemed necessary by the foundation.
